A reply is needed from Najib

Najib Razak

Below is an open letter to Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Najib Razak, I wonder if he will read it and then have the common courtesy to reply? Most likely he will not!!

Well done Ms. Jeswan Kuar, you are a true beacon of common sense and enlightenment in the stinking quagmire that Malaysia is gradually turning into.

Najib talks about ‘1Malaysia’, which is a concept which is pure adulterated devilish devious political drivel. There is more religious intolerance and overt racism since the '1Malaysia' bandwagon began to roll.

His ball-carrying ministers are talking absolute rubbish and must be looking through rose coloured glasses, or are just plain stupid, if they think the people of Malaysia will even listen to them, let alone take one iota of notice of the verabl diarrhoea coming from their mouths.

Here is the letter, please read it carefully, I am sure the vast majority will wholeheartedly agree with all that is written in it by Ms. Jeswan Kuar.

I most certainly do.

An open letter to Najib Abdul Razak
From: Jeswan Kaur | Jan 14, 10 10:33am
Malaysiakini

“Mr Prime Minister,

I am compelled to pen you a letter, feeling very distraught over the racial discord rearing its ugly head yet again.

The negative outbursts resulting from the High Court's approval for the Catholic weekly Herald to go ahead and use the word ‘Allah' in its publication and the subsequent attacks on churches have made it very clear, that 1Malaysia is only and only political propaganda.

Your giving the go ahead for protests at mosques only added fuel to the fire, one that is sure to ‘engulf' Malaysians across the board if not enough effort is put into extinguishing it.

You know very well that the unity in diversity Malaysians once enjoyed has been destroyed by the powers that be for their own gain.
God by any other name is God and the house of worship is simply that.

Is a Chinese denied entry into a kuil? If yes, then the annual show at Batu Caves in conjunction with the Thaipusam celebration is nothing but an exercise at making money, thanks to the devotees who offer prayers at a fee.

What about the Sikhs, whose holy scripture the Guru Granth Sahib Ji makes reference to ‘Allah' and its derivatives Alah, Alhu, Allahu and Allahi some 46 times?

What does this tell you? Will the Sikh holy book be tampered with to erase all references made to Allah? Will the Sikhs be banned from reciting prayers from their holy book?

Mosque and blessed feeling for non-Muslim

If religion is so ‘private', I wonder what will happen to that tourist with a tattoo of the word ‘Allah' on her or his arm walking innocently along Petaling Street, Malaysia's very own Chinatown?

I was 22 when I started off as a journalist with an established newspaper company. Even then I had no hang ups over ‘my religion and your religion'.

This explained why I asked my Muslim colleague if I could accompany her to the surau and wait while she did her solat. She was more than happy and said ‘yes'.

As she fulfilled her religious obligations, I sat, feeling blessed at being in a house of worship.

It never crossed my mind that the surau was a place of worship exclusive to Muslims, until a senior reporter walked in and ordered me out, as she said the surau did not welcome a non-Muslim.

Along the way I had more Muslim friends, some who said it was a no-no for me to set foot inside a mosque or to hold the Quran.

But there was one Muslim whom I befriended who was only very helpful in helping me understand more about Islam, including going through the Quran, understanding the Sunnah, Hadith and even experiencing the month long fasting during the Ramadan month.

Urgent need for comparative religion studies

As a reporter, I was assigned to cover assignments at mosques. It was never unnerving for me as it was for the Muslims who became restless noticing the presence of a non-Muslim at their place of worship.

I cannot understand why Muslims become so insecure at the sight of a non-Muslim inside their mosque. But they will only be too happy if the non-Muslim comes in with a purpose to convert.

Doesn't a non-Muslim have the right to set foot inside a masjid, since it is yet another house of worship, to seek God's blessings?

Maybe this is why many Malaysians especially are ignorant about religious practices in Malaysia because they are not given a chance to learn, with no conditions attached. Is comparative study not possible without converting?

We all know that Mecca is a city forbidden to the non-Muslims. But why? It is a place gifted with so much history and sadly the non-Muslims are only allowed to see the city through television and magazines.

A Muslim friend passed away a year ago and we, her non-Muslim friends, gathered at the mosque. We brought along selendang or scarfs to cover our heads, knowing well what was expected of us.

And we later marched to the Muslim burial ground after the Zohor prayers to bid our friend farewell. No hang-ups there.

Even shampoo and toothpaste not spared

I remember as a child listening my grandmother uttering the word ‘Allah Taala' to the Muslim makciks in the kampung where we lived each time they talked about their respective health.

No one took umbrage then, so why today the unnecessary excitement over the court approval for a Catholic news bulletin to use the word ‘Allah'?

Why does the government take offence and demonstrate absolute authority in displaying its dismay over this, to the point that your colleague Nazri Aziz went on to say that the judge had erred in allowing the word ‘Allah' to be used? Is he saying that we no longer trust the judiciary?

Mr Prime Minister you definitely have lots to do, but your to-do list will be hogged by the utmost urgent need to address the issue of 1Malaysia, in the true sense of the word, where the Indians, Chinese and the Malays live as brethrens, with no hint of doubt or syak wasangka.

I believe advertisements showing toothpaste and shampoos exclusively for the Muslims have been doing a lot of damage. Is this a good example of 1Malaysia? Should the Indians and the Chinese follow suit?

I do not understand how Malaysians of today are united in their diversity. A walk to the pasar malam scares me as I dread passing by the stall that sells beef, as there hangs the head of the cow that was slaughtered. Can the non-Muslims make noise about this?
We do not because we 'understand'. But if pork meat was sold openly there would be chaos in the country.

Whither ‘love thy neighbour' ?

Why? Just like we ‘understand' when opulent mosques are built throughout the country.

But how would the Sikhs feel when Astro's Zee station abruptly ends the morning prayer telecast live from their holy shrine, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, because of Astro's timing glitch.

This shows Astro's insincerity in making available such service to the Sikh community, not to mention complete disrespect for the prayers.
Also, why must the term ‘babi' (pig) be used to hurl abuses at non-Muslims? Do the non-Muslims stoop as low as use the term ‘lembu' to offend the Muslims?

Non-Muslims keep their pet dogs miles away from their Muslim friends who avoid ‘man's best friend' like the plague.

Sad, truly that even animals are not spared by mankind, God's most challenging creation.

If we have stooped so low, then it is time the country's national anthem ‘Negaraku' be relooked, for the rakyat no longer live bersatu dan maju (the people live united and progressive) nor does the rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan (God bestow His blessings and happiness on us) seems applicable anymore, keeping the racial tensions in mind.

I am sure God is thoroughly dismayed with his creation, for they have failed to grasp the true meaning of ‘love thy neighbour' and are ever thirsty for each other's blood.

Attacking churches like that happened recently is a bleak demonstration of 1Malaysia.

When will the politicisation of religion stop?
How many more hearts will your administration break to protect the interests of the dominant race of this country?

Is worshipping the creator an exercise in politics?

Mr Prime Minister, where were you when a Muslim transsexual was accused of bringing shame to Malaysia?

For human rights sake, why did you not utter a word?
Is the issue of transsexualism a petty affair to you? What happened to your catch-phrase of ‘rakyat diutamakan etc'.

Is Malaysia gearing towards a second black May 13? If the current events are to be looked at, then yes, the worry and fear are very real as we watch the nation emasculate gradually but surely.

But if we all come to our senses and realise the truth and beauty of ‘love thy neighbour', all will be well, insyallah.”

Malaysian F1 Team - what a Bloody Cruel Joke, for whose benefit is it really for?

Thai Moo Satay, the Original Satay

Too much barefaced brazen bullshit, far-fetched farcical fucking about, sneaky, slimy skulduggery.

One Malaysia minus One, F1 fantasy, foolish financial folly, to be followed by failure.

Malaysia is, it seems, cursed, doomed and in terminal decline.

Look around at the decaying infrastructure, the apathy, the waste and the incompetence.

Try this Thai Satay, you are certain to enjoy eating it after you prepare and cook it at home.
Just follow the recipe below. Bon Appetite!

It is some peoples belief that Satay (or sate as it is called in the Malay language) is not of Thai origin, but this is a mistake.

Thailand shares many recipes with surrounding countries, as this is also the case with Satay which is immensely popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and the southern provinces of Thailand.

Satay is also a popular Thai street food, as it can be found around Thailand sold from push-cars or motorcycle side-cars.

Now try to make our own Satay to impress our employers, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, wifes, husbands or family.

Slice the chicken breast finely, width approximately 3 cm. Pound together, or blend in a blender, coriander seeds (
Pour the blended ingredients into the coconut milk. Add sugar and vegetable oil and blend again so that all ingredients are well mixed.

Add the chicken sliced and marinate for 2 hours, tread the chicken slices onto the skewers. Pour the marinating sauce into a pot and heat until boiling.

Place the chicken slices over a charcoal grill (barbecue) and apply the sauce to the chicken while turning over. When cooked through, serve with satay sauce and sliced cucumber.

We hope that you will enjoy your own made Satay and think about our website *, of course any failure to make it 'aroi aroi' will not be our fault.

Thank You :

Censorship of the Internet, Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes, but no, but yes!

P M Najib says No”, Rais says “Yes, but only for pornography”

Read the crap, click HERE

The big question is: 'Can they be believed?'

Of course the answer is NO!

These UNMO / BN fellas are politicians of the basic kind; they more often than not speak bullshit, untruths, half truths, emit hectolitres of verbal diarrhoea and excel in talking absolute cock, such are the tools of their trade.

I personally would not trust any of them as far as my rubber-gloved hands could throw them.

Let us wait and see, they have blocked web sites before, but just for a while because there is always a way to overcome selective blocking and censorship of the Internet.

Books of course are easier to control, and book banning is alive and well in Malaysia, under the the Home Ministry's ever virtuous 'Publication Control Division and Al-Quran Text Division' which has banned 397 books in the last nine years. Of these, 190 books contained materials that 'could jeopardise public order', (what ever that is supposed to mean?) whilst the other 207 book titles contained 'immoral content', (what ever that is supposed to mean?)

Another example of press censorship in Malaysia

A lady, Madam Teng Soon Moey, age 56 years, from Singapore, was stabbed in the back at her hotel in Genting Highlands, she was fortunate to survive.

The Malaysian media has not reported this news, I suppose they do not like news which reflects negatively on the feel-good bubble of bullshit that UMNO / BN creates.

UTM Student Dies Alone After Giving Birth on Campus

How Shameful for UTM and for Malaysia

UTM = Uncaring Temperamental Masquerading ?

A woman who was found dead and decomposing together with her new born baby boy with his umbilical card still intact in a room of a University Teknologi Malaysia's (UTM) Skudai, Johor Bahru, hostel was, according to UTM's corporate affairs department assistant registrar (media and external relations) Sabri Ahmad, a university drop out, Sabri reportedly stated that the 26-year old woman had failed her first semester examination in her fourth year in November 2008.

Oh, so all is well then, UTM washes hands and evades any responsibility!

"She had been renting a room at the dormitory since 11 May 2009, and was from the Science faculty," he said.

Evidently outsiders were allowed to rent rooms at the university on a case-by-case basis.

This is a very peculiar situation, is this really true? New students are even currently unable to get proper on-campus accommodation.

IT SOUNDS AND SMELLS LIKE UTM BULLSHIT TO ME

Meanwhile, the head of Johor Baru (North) police A C Ruslan Hassan was reported as saying that the police had taken the baby's DNA samples to locate the father and stated that the unmarried? woman, who was from Kelantan was believed to have died from excessive blood loss whilst in labour and giving birth.

May the mother and her child find rest in heavenly peace.

Issues should not be queried openly, says Hamid Albar

Hamid Albar

is talking out of his arse

The three arrests made under the Internal Security Act (ISA) were a government decision and should not be questioned by any minister, Utusan Malaysia has reported,

Minister of home affairs Hamid Albar said this in response to minister in the prime minister’s department Zaid Ibrahim’s statement that judicial laws should have been used instead of the ISA.

Hamid said Malaysia would be in a crisis if every minister with his own stand started questioning another minister’s decisions openly in the media.

“Zaid is a Cabinet member and if he has his own opinion, he should bring it straight to the Prime Minister. If one Cabinet member carries out his duty and another one openly criticises it, I don’t know where we will go or what will happen,” he said.`

So what kind of democracy does Malaysia have?

What is Hamid Albar waffling about?

A few days ago he stated that the decision to use the ISA was that of the police, now he is saying it was a government decision! Does he imply that the police are the government and vice versa?

Hamid Albar is a bumbling buffoon who was an embarrassment to Malaysia when he was minister of foreign affairs, now, as home affairs minister, he continues his moronic idiocy.

Zaid, who has resigned as a minister, is a man of great honour, and integrity, he has great strength of character, and is greatly respected by Malaysians, this can not be said about Hamid Albar, and the vast majority of the BN government minsters and deputy ministers.

Hamid and the rest are despised and are not respected at all.

The sooner there is a new government the sooner Malaysia will be on the right path to prosperity, dignity and equality.

Meanwhile in Muar, Johor, datelined 16th September 2008, more UMNO men are talking out of their backsides:

Several UMNO chiefs want de facto Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim to resign from the Cabinet for criticising the use of the Internal Security Act (ISA) to arrest three people recently.

They are from the Pagoh and Muar divisions, they felt as a Cabinet minister, Zaid should blindly support the Government and accept all its laws, regulations and actions without question.

Pagoh UMNO division deputy chairman Tahir Taat said Zaid had ignored the collective responsibility of the Cabinet.

NOTE: Hamid Albar is also from Johor.

I thought Zaid had already honourably resigned, as he did not agree with the use of the ISA.

UPDATE:

Zaid Ibrahim has confirmed he is sticking to his decision to resign as de facto Law Minister despite the PM rejecting his resignation letter.

He told a press conference in Putrajaya , on Tuesday morning 16th September 2008, that he was disappointed, after failing to convince the government to initiate reforms.

The Senator also said he has not made a decision on leaving UMNO and joining PKR.

He, however, said he was keeping an “open mind”.

Zaid had submitted his resignation letter to the Prime Minister one day earlier, but it was rejected by Abdullah Badawi.

BULLSHIT FROM ADBULLAH BADAWI

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 12 (Bernama) "The government will not use the Internal Security Act (ISA) without concrete reason, and this was so in the detention of blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Friday.

Detentions under the ISA were carried out only after the government was convinced that there was a threat to security and public order, he told reporters...."

THE PMs PRECEPTION! Dreaming in Cloud Cuckoo - land

PM Abdullah Badawi reportedly said on Wednesday 27th August 2008.

UMNO / BN still commanded strong support from the people.

No, not the joke of the day, it is sad but true.

The result of the Permatang Pauh by election, in which UMNO / BN was throughly thrashed by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), whose was candidate Anwar Ibrahim, ‘cannot be interpreted as a trend that can happen in other constituencies’, according to UMNO President and PM Abdullah Badawi reportedly said on Wednesday 27th August 2008.

Abdullah said UMNO / BN still commanded strong support from the people.

"What happened in Permatang Pauh was not something so big as to change the situation that exists after the last general election.

"The Permatang Pauh by-election is one by-election that cannot be interpreted as something that can happen in other constituencies. I believe we can still continue the government,"

Abdullah, who is also BN chairman, told the media, according to the Malaysian propaganda news agency BERNAMA..

Anwar Ibrahim won the Permatang Pauh by-election Tuesday with a massive 15,671 vote majority, garnering 31,195 votes against the UMNO / BN candidate Arif Shah Omar Shah, who obtained only 15,524 votes.

The other candidate, Hanafi Mamat, 61, of Angkatan Keadilan Insan Malaysia (Akim) lost his deposit as he received just 92 votes!

The reason Saiful wasn't charged, according to Syed Hamid

The Quoted Source of the Political Bullshit

Can you believe these inane statements by Malaysia's Minister of Home Affairs, as reported in the Star, he is, it seems, telling everyone that the case against Anwar Ibrahim is trumped up and is politically motivated.

Syed Hamid is obviously unfit to be a minister, let alone the Minister of Home Affairs

It all sounds like political bullshit to me!

Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is not being charged because he is the key witness in the sodomy case against PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Home Affairs Minister Syed Hamid Albar reportedly said.

He said that in a criminal justice system, when a person comes forward to report on a matter, the person would be protected.

"Usually, the victim would be given protection," said Syed Hamid.

He also said that Anwar is innocent until proven guilty by the court.

"However, it doesn't mean that we can't take action against him just because he is a VIP," he said.

He also advised the public not to jump into any conclusion before the court decides the case.

In the police report he lodged on 28th June 2008, Saiful had claimed he was forcibly sodomised.

Anwar is however being charged under Section 377B (click for the Star story) of the Penal Code, which implies consensual sodomy.

“If it is “suka sama suka” (consensual), why was I the only one being charged? If it is consensual, both should be charged,” Anwar said after coming out of the Sessions Court in Jalan Duta, after being charges with sodomy on Thursday, 7th August 2008.

Malaysia, in Terminal Decline?

Well, it is certainly rapidly losing a lot of credibility and what little international respect it may have once had.

Of course this guy:

"Najid heartened by African interest in Malaysia's development experience"

"Abdul Muin Abdul Majid, BERNAMA"

SEEN IN NSTP HERE

NAJID? Who the hell is this geezer called “Najid” ?

Never heard of the bugger!

But he has evidently said African countries look up to Malaysia, I say "Big Deal"

After two days experiencing crappy Internet connection from Streamyx yet again, I can now publish a post.

One could be forgiven for assuming that Telekom Malaysia (TM Net) was censoring / restricting the access to the Internet, whilst the government controlled / owned mainstream media could be readily accessed on line, sites such as foreign news from BBC, CNN , Al-Jazeera, etc. could not.
Malaysia Today, Malaysiakini, blogs, etc. were either totally inaccessible, or very very slow to load.

Even email could not be readily accessed, apart from the TM Net email, which I am sure most folks don't use as it is of limited capacity and in my opinion unreliable.

What is Malaysia becoming?

Sadly it is rapidly becoming more ignorant, more inward-looking, more xenophobic and more anal retentive with each passing day.

Too rejuvenate I am off for a few days to one of the few remaining unspoiled parts of Malaysia, for a relaxing few days far from the shallowness, the madness, the lies, and the cheating.

There will be no Internet access, no telephones; just the beauty of nature.

I will leave you with a joke, it will bring back memories of millions of wasted man-hours, (this being the time wasted listening to the unmitigated bullshit, and empty promises, self-praise and 'talking-down to' speeches), that are part and parcel of 'normal life' in UMNO / BN Malaysia, especially for civil servants.

TTFN

BN Verbal Diarrhoea

A standard issue [verbose and pompous] UNMO / BN politician, notorious for lengthy, very boring and empty, cock-talking speeches, is just about to start holding forth one day when he notices a man in the assembled audience, yawn, get up and leave the hall.

Over three and a half hours later, the politician is finally winding up his speech when he notices the man come back in and sit down amongst the mostly sleeping audience,

Afterwards the politician asked the man where he had been.

"I went to get a haircut," the man tells him.

"But why didn't you do that before my speech began?"

"Because I didn't need one then."
