The Star Misinforms, Malaysia Today still being blocked

MISINFORMATION IN THE STAR ONLINE

News Portal Unblocked

PETALING JAYA: The controversial news portal Malaysia Today was up and running yesterday after being blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM).

The portal was blocked on Aug 27 after Internet Service Providers in the country received notices from the commission to ban the website.

The move by the commission sparked debate because under the Multimedia Super Corridor Malaysia 10-Point Bill of Guarantees, the Government promised to “ensure no Internet censorship.” UNQUOTE

It is possible the DNS servers have not refreshed. It takes 24-48 hours after an action is done for DNS servers to replicate around the world. Just giving them the benifit of the doubt.

Thanks for the visit and comment Nick Tay.

It seems you generosity was misplaced.

MT remains blocked until now.

Misinformation is alive and well in Malaysia.

The time for change is fast approaching, BN is imploding.
