The embattled leader of UMNO / BN, Abdullah Badawi, while struggling to keep afloat, is in fact engineering his own demise. He is slow and surely being deserted by his followers.
UMNO seems to be imploding, whilst the opposition Peoples' Alliance (Pakatan Rakyat) is becoming more united and gaining strength.
