Wee Meng Chee (Namewee) has been asked to present himself at Bukit Aman , Federal Police Headquarters, tomorrow 23^rd September 2008.

The police contacted Wee’s father, “They did not tell him why they wanted me to be present. They just set the date,” Meng Chee said.

“I guess it is about the Negaraku rap. I am surprised. I thought the matter was laid to rest already as it was more than a year ago.”

There must be more to this that one can glean from it at face value, Wee Meng Chee and his family must feel very uneasy and be wondering what tomorrow will bring.

The word is that RPK’s habeas corpus hearing has been brought forward to tomorrow, 23rd September 2008, at 09:00, place:

High Court, Criminal Court 2,

Kuala Lumpur Court Complex,

Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

One can but speculate on the outcome of this hearing , however most habeas corpus hearings for ISA detainees usually end badly for the detainee, but it’s at the very least an opportunity for the people to show solidarity with Raja Petra.
