Are the Terengganu UMNO worms a-turning?

Latest news , Malaysiakini reported this news on 24 March 2008 at 6.43pm

…….in a sudden turn of events, it is reliably learnt that 13 out of 22 Terengganu BN elected state representatives who had initially supported Idris Jusoh as Menteri Besar, are now backing Ahmad Said for the post.

Ahmad Said, who received his letter of appointment as Menteri Besar of Terengganu from the Ruler yesterday, is due to be sworn in soon.

The Prime Minister has backed the former MB, Idris Jusoh to be reappointed as MB

If the latest news is indeed true then UMNO is cracking, crumbling and slowly and surely disintegrating.

This turn of events is not unexpected, the coming days will reveal more, but of course the mainstream media will be suppressing the truth, as is normal in Malaysia, for as long as possible.

We are living in interesting times.

This is not pleasing. If a 3 party state government can solve the issues (Perak), why it is so difficult for UMNO?

Thanks for visiting and your comments Mr Penang.
We are indeed living in interesting times.
UMNO are too self orientated, greedy and arrogant, they need to learn to be humble, co-operative, honest and outward looking.
