Sharizat sneeks back in via the back door

"Shahrizat is special adviser to PM with ministerial status
PETALING JAYA (March 18, 2008): Former Woman, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil has been appointed Special Adviser to the Prime Minister with ministerial status effective tomorrow.

She will be in charge of women and social development affairs and is expected to work closely with the Woman, Family and Community Development Ministry which is now headed by Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.

The appointment was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in a media statement released this evening, six hours after he announced the new cabinet line-up in Putrajaya.

At the moment, Abdullah has two special advisers, Tan Sri Dr Abdul Hamid Othman for religious affairs and Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Mohamad for foreign affairs."
