Mahathir urges Malaysian government to welcome Mugabe

“Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad yesterday said Malaysia should welcome Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe if he goes into exile following elections in his country.”

Mugabe was reported, by the BBC and other media last week, as perhaps having been in Malaysia, or trying to secure a safe haven, by getting permission for exile in Malaysia.

Now Dr. M apparently has confirmed it.
