So why all the fuss in narrow minded and self centred Malaysia?

SIL and other are condemning the modern, pollution free pig farming project in Selangor?

Why?

There is nothing wrong with pig farming, especially if it is carried out properly in a hygienic, sanitary and non-poluting manner.

Such politicians are hypocrites, as it was, after all is said and done, the UMNO led former Selangor state government which had initiated it. There are numerous news reports to this effect.

Oh, by the way, that infamous blogger called menj left this comment regarding my post about the dumping of raw sewage into the pristine waters off the east coast of peninsular Malaysia,

“menj: dont see anything wrong with that.

selangor state is discharging pig shit into the sea and no one is complaining!”

Obviously this guy menj seems to believe that human excrement is less offensive than the porcine type!

He also apparently seems to think that the waters off the coast of Selangor are crystal clear, have a sandy seabed fringed by coral reefs like, those off the east coast.

For you information and education, menj, shit is shit end of story, and there should be no pollution of any kind, anywhere, at any time.

Toyo finally admits he is the problem, not the solution, and resigns.

It is reported that former dentist, and former Selangor MB Mohamad Khir Toyo has quit as the Selangor UMNO and BN headman with immediate effect.

'Mike Tyson'

These posts will now be taken over by newly-appointed Rural and Regional Development (Senator) Muhammad Muhammad Taib ('Mike Tyson'), Selangor UMNO deputy chairman.

Toyo said he felt responsible for BNs poor showing in the state during the recent general election and decided it was best for him to quit. Too true, he should have thrown in the towel ages ago, now ‘Mike Tyson’ is in the ring again.

Will things improve in Selangor?

Don't hold your breath folks!

But the PM is talking about eradication corruption, he has advised Ministers to stay away from it.

This (extract below) was reported in the Star:

"PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi expects those in his new Cabinet to stay away from corruption, serve with integrity and dignity, go to the ground often and organise frequent meet-the-grassroots sessions.

He also wants his ministers to be people-friendly 'wakil rakyat' (peoples representatives, be ever willing to serve, and be ready to continue with government policies that are popular among the people and the private sector.

In his first post-election Cabinet meeting, Abdullah reminded his ministers to be well-behaved.

“They must completely reject corruption. They must stay away from corrupt practices and there should be no compromise on this issue.

“We are waging a war against corruption and we are serious about it,” he told a packed press conference after the meeting. "

Idle talk? We will have to wait and see.

“The party president has accepted my resignation and also agreed with my decision to hand over the state leadership to Tan Sri (Muhammad),” Toyo had said, adding that he would leave the decision on the other state UMNO posts to ‘Mike Tyson’.

He went on to say.

“It is not a hasty decision, I decided to announce it now (before the post-mortem on the general election is concluded) because I fear that if delayed it would give rise to problems that will split the party and hamper efforts to win back the state,”

“Mike Tyson’ who was also at the press conference, said he was shocked by Toyo’s decision and was not prepared to say anything on the matter. Maybe the question was asked in English, and language which the Australian Customs & Excise, and Judicial System were told he was not familiar with, when he was apprehended for teying to smuggle US$ 3.8 million in cash in to Australia!

Khir Toyo, Lies! Lies! Lies and more lies!

BUT WHO IS TELLING THEM?

Out of work dentist, and former MB Khir Toyo finally broke his three-day silence last night, denying that he had coerced eight PAS state assemblymen into joining Barisan Nasional to form a new State government.

According to news reports, Mohamad Khir, ex dentist, and now ex MB of Selangor, has also denied signing a contract with Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd on the eve of Saturday’s polling and also denied ordering the shredding and removing official documents from the Menteri Besar’s office at Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building.

He said:

“We (BN) have collectively decided to stay on the opposition side because we have to help the people here. However, we will be with Selangor folk all the way. They will get all the benefits promised.”

“We have nothing to hide, we are very transparent. These stories of taking out documents in boxes or even in lorries are all old stories,” said Khir, adding that the new State government line-up had nothing to worry as “everything is in order”.

“I have all the details on Selangor (ready). Do not make up this kind of false stories. We do not have any reason to lie,” he said.

Mohamad Khir, who is the Selangor BN chairman, also denied signing any contract with Puncak Niaga on the eve of the General Election.

“No. I never signed anything. I know what I’m doing,” he said.

REUTERS reported yesterday that Puncak Niaga had secured a water contract with the former Selangor government to allow the company to operate the Sungai Sireh water treatment plant.

Regarding the fate of the State government’s subsidiary companies, Mohamad Khir said this would depend on the new line-up.

He also said:

“I hope they will take good care of the companies which are all making profits.
They cannot misuse the resources because I have a copy of all the relevant documents,” Khir said he was confident of winning the State back in the next four years.

“We (BN / UMNO) will also make sure that they (the State Government) practice good governance and if they ignore racial sensitivities, we will make sure action is taken,” Khir said, adding that “he will not allow any party to destroy what BN has built.”

He added: “BN would make sure that the promises in the manifestos by the coalition of opposition parties would be carried out and not end up as empty promises.”

Such big arrogant empty talk and threats from a small very insignificant man.

Khir Toyo seems to forget that he is a Mr. Nobody in Selangor now, merely the head of the Selangor BN opposition; his own head is so big that perhaps the swelling will take a while to shrink.

Getting rid of his pomposity, pretension, arrogance, greed and selfishness will likely be a longer term project, but If investigations show he was responsible for ordering the removal, retention and / or the destruction of State Government files, documents, data or anything else, he should be immediately arrested and charged, tried and if found guilty, a spell in jail may help to speed this process up.

Henceforth, let’s just totally ignore what the pretentious petty preacher has to say.
