“Cases of alleged corruption by Umno members are handled internally and not by anti-graft laws, party legal adviser Datuk Hafarizam Harun said.

The party, through its own mechanisms, could address such a problem, he said.

"For reasons reflected in the party's constitution and members' code of ethics, I look at it as more of political corruption, not corruption per se, although some may not agree.

"I agree that it is morally and ethically wrong, but it does not come under corruption-related acts." .......................”

How arrogant and big-headed UMNO are, they are simply a Registered Society, under the control of the Registrar of Societies, through the enforcement of laws as follows:

The Societies Act 1966 and Socities Rules 1984

- so how come UMNO can seemingly openly profess to be above the law, act as they deem fit and seemingly get away scot free?

Surely corruption, of any type, within a Registered Society is not condoned by the ROS?

This is typical of the state of affairs in Malaysia in the 21^st Century.

Why does the Registrar of Societies Md Alias bin Hj. Kalil have nothing to say regarding this matter?

Mr Perabagaran said the men, all dressed in black, gloated about the attack and asked him: 'With your condition like this, how are you going to go to the SEA Games, do you think there are no boxers in Kuala Lumpur who are better qualified than you?'

'I feel these people were jealous because I was selected for the SEA Games ... It was also sad that nobody from the National Sports Council came to visit me in the hospital,' he added.

It may well have been jealousy, I certainly hope there was no racial element in this despicable incident.

Questions also need to be asked why the Malaysian National Sports Council ignored Perabagan's plight.

This incident brings shame to sports and also to Malaysia.

I suppose it will just be swept under the carpet as is usually the case!

“Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo arriving at the SK Simpang Lima polling station on a motorcycle, with his wife riding pillion.

The Selangor Barisan Nasional chairman took delivery of the motorbike on Friday but was seen riding the machine comfortably through the narrow road leading to the school with his wife Datin Seri Zaharah Kechik on polling day Saturday.

Several voters checking their voter details at the Barisan booth outside the school only realised the VIP voter had come up next to them on the cub bike when press photographers rushed there to get shots of Dr Khir.

The motorcycle also carried the registration number BJV 8888 to match the number 8 which Dr Khir claimed Selangor had an affinity with, as the state has an area of 8,000 sq km and eight million residents, it’s the year 2008 and Dr Khir was appointed mentri besar in August, the eighth month of the year.”

Q1 What is a VIP voter, every voter is simply that “A VOTER” aren't they?

Q2 Why are KhirToyo and his wife not wearing crash helmets?

Q3. Why is Mrs Toyo not sitting on the motorbike correctly?

Q4. Why were they each not summoned for the above offences?

Oh, sorry I forgot, they are beyond the law, and free to do as they please!!!!!!
