WAKE UP YOU DUMB ARSE GOVERNMENTS!

YES! WAKE UP NOW!

We, the common people are are not powerless - we can collectively turn this thing around.

Use your democratic rights to kick out the corrupt, the greedy, the self-centred, the narrow-minded, the corrupt, the despotic, the nepotistic, the dictators and all those in government and in positions of power who think that they are invincible and untouchable.

A German's View Of Islamic Terrorist Fanatics

I recieved the email, reproduced below, today.

If you care for mankind, world peace, humanity, truth, freedom and justice, please copy the email text and forward it.

The same thing occurs with any fanatical groups, be they racists, political parties, religion based or any other like minded fanatical groups, they all qualify as, and deserve the label, 'terrorists'.

This is by far the best explanation of the present day Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read.

His references to past history are accurate and clear.

it is not a long document, it is easy to understand, and well worth reading.

The author of this email is said to be Dr. Emanuel Tanay, a well known and well respected psychiatrist.

A German's View of Islamic Terrorist Fanatics

"A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates.

When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care.

I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools.

So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen.

Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.

Although this unqualified assertion may betrue, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march.

It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.

I
t is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave.

It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill.

It is the
fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.

It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and
homosexuals.

It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on!

Let us hope that thousands, world wide, read
this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

Emanuel Tanay, M.D."

POWER TO THE PENAN

THE BRAVE AND HONOURABLE PENAN

Hundreds of Penan armed with spears and blowpipes have set up new blockades deep in the Borneo jungles, escalating their campaign against logging and palm oil plantations.

The Penan, indigenous people from Malaysia's state of Sarawak, manned a blockade and displayed banners and held spears and blowpipies to challenge vehicles from timber and plantation companies in Long Nen.

POWER TO THE PENAN!

This land is their land, the indigenous people, such as the Panan and other native tribes, should be commended and honoured for their determination and steadfastness in standing up for their inalienable fundamental human rights.

Mr Jok Jau Evong from Friends of the Earth in Sarawak, was reported as saying:

This is the last chance for them to protect their territory. If they don't succeed, there will be no life for them, no chance for them to survive.”

Mr Alah Beling, headman of Long Belok settlement, which is a cluster of wooden huts which are home to 298 people and are reachable only by a long suspension bridge, near where one of the barricades has been built, reportedly said:

"The forest was once our supermarket, but now it's hard to find food, the wild boar have gone".

NEVER FORGET THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE or "People Power"

PEOPLE POWER IN KUALA LUMPUR, 1st August 2009

Corazon Aquino, the former president of the Philippines whose "People Power" movement pushed out long time strongman and big time crook Ferdinand Marcos less than three years after her husband's assassination, has died at the age 76, may she rest in peace.

Those individuals, political parties, coalitions of political parties like UMNO / BN, and their leaders and followers never study history to see how such power crazy, corrupted, self enriching and greedy entities such as themselves, always will be toppled in due course.

Once the power of the people gains momentum, it cannot be stopped by the police, vigilantly groups like RELA, or even the armed forces.

That is why governments should be afraid of their people not the other way around!

"The government has no intention of abolishing the Internal Security Act (ISA), a law that has ensured stability in the country".

“The ISA is a necessary law.”

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nazri Aziz was quoted as saying on Saturday 1st August 2009.

Yes it is a necessary law, but only for BN/ UMNO, so they can use it to oppress any opponents!

The peaceful and orderly ISA rallies of about 20,000 citizens today are an expression of people power, but they were suppressed and then roughly broken up by the riot police; when apart from heavy handed tactics and the use of tear gas and water (laced with chemicals?) cannons, in addition roads were closed and the police blocked all access to Kuala Lumpur, and there were even police road blocks as far away as Seremban, which lies over 80 kilometres to the south, and as a direct result, the police caused chaos in the suburbs as well as in in the city. Several LRT stations were also closed.

Almost 600 people including juveniles, were arrested.

Nevertheless the rallies today were a success and were another step forward for people power.

CANDLELIGHT VIGIL 27th SEPTEMBER 2008 IN KL

`

REPEAL THE ISA

FREE ALL THOSE DETAINED WITHOUT TRIAL

From 19:00 hours (7pm) Malaysia Time (GMT +8 hours ) an estimated 2,000 + people who had assembled at Dataran Merdeka (Freedom Square) for a peaceful candlelight vigil; marched in an orderly manner from there to a Hindu temple situated opposite the Puduraya bus terminal in central Kuala Lumpur, in solidarity against the draconian Malaysian Internal Security Act 1960.

The police were present, but not in a very large numbers as far as could be determined.

The group dispersed quietly around 21:00 hours (9 pm).

The event was a great success.

Another part of the group, near Dataran Merdeka (Freedom Square), was 'harassed' by the police, but behaved peacefully, and the police gave some latitude to them, as the above video shows.

16th September, Malaysia Day, Time for Change, 14 Days to Go

Heralding the Change

Two weeks until Malaysia Day on 16th September 2008

In 2008, this day of national celebration could well be even more auspicious than usual, as it could be the day when Malaysia’s independence from half a century of subservience to the selfish UMNO / BN begins, the day that Pakatan Rakyat (the Peoples Alliance) forms the new Federal Government of Malaysia.

Barisan Nasional is way past its ‘Sell By’ date and BN can be regarded as ‘Basi Nasi’ or as it should be correctly stated in Bahasa Malaysia ‘Nasi Basi’ (Stale rice)

[‘Basi’ is a Bahasa Malaysia word meaning stale, musty and mouldy, ‘nasi’ is the word in Bahasa Malaysia for cooked-rice].

There will be nation-wide celebrations when UNMO / BN falls from power, they stubbornly have not learned anything from the outcome of the March general election results, they are still big-headed, arrogant, self-centred and greedy. Furthermore, bribery and corruption are both thriving, continuing to be alive and well from top to bottom.

Recently the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) seems to have been awakened from slumber, but their actions thus far, are far too little, far too late; as bribery and corruption are now manifestly deeply rooted and endemic throughout Malaysia.

Cracks are appearing, and widening, within BN; component party leaders and others, are criticising one another, some agree to disagree, meanwhile others behave as though everything in the garden is still lovely.

In UMNO /BN the denial syndrome is as strong and as deeply rooted as ever; as are the sins of self-enrichment, insatiable greed, hypocrisy, lying, falsehoods and ‘money politics’, ‘vote buying’ and so on.

Which way will the Sword of Damocles swing? By whom will the winning song be sung?

Will UMNO / BN retain their, once strong but now tottery, perch, or as is forecast, will PR intiate change and arise to take control of the Federal Government of Malaysia?

Malaysia is, at this time, in a state of flux, many people want a change so much, will 16th September 2008, be the date that the flood gate opens?

Let us wait and watch the political manoeuvrings of the next 14 days, let's hope they are transparent, above board and just.

The outcome will be apparent before too long.

In my opinion Malaysia is ripe for change, so let the winds of change blow strong and steady. The voice of the masses asking for change is loud and clear.

The truth will prevail, it always does.

06.07.08 - PROTES in progress at the Kelana Jaya Stadium

PROTES began as planned at 10:00.

There is a carnival atmosphere at the Kelana Jaya stadium this morning (Sunday 6th July 2008) where the all day anti-fuel price rise rally ‘PROTES’ is taking pace.

The day will be filled with various activities and speeches.

The Malaysian public attending, are upholding their rights to peaceful assembly, and are deifying intimidating road blocks, veiled threats and stern warnings from the police.

(Picture & basic news source Malaysiakini)

There is still a heavy police presence, including at the LRT Stations, around Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.

Some road blocks are still reported to be in place too.

Come along and join in if you can.

Power to the People!

Vox populi

Meanwhile the BN subservient meek and mild mainstream media are full of misinformation, spin and bullshit.

UPDATES

Look at the Star and NST to see their latest reports for yourselves.

The NST now at last reports about the rally, and says 10,000 people are attending, so based on previous underestimated by the msm, the true number may be higher.

Finally at MYT 14:42:59 (07:42:59 GMT) Sunday 6th July 2008,

The Star acknowledges:

“Crowds swelling at Kelana Jaya stadium

Thousands of protesters, led by several NGOs and Pakatan Rakyat leaders, have thronged the Kelana Jaya stadium here to protest against the fuel hike.

Many of them were wearing red shirts, emblazoned with the word "protest" to voice their dissent.”

At 15:00 the crowd is estimated by the Star, at 15,000 to 20,000 and increasing

NOTE: The Kelana Jaya stadium has a seating capacity of 50,000, reports in the early afternoon, say it was at least half full at noon.

(it has been estimated that the stadium could accommodate up to about 80,000 if open areas were used),

INTERNET CENSORSHIP IN MALAYSIA?

ACCESS DENIED

The Malaysian government wants to keep you in the dark!

MALAYSIA – TODAY WEB SITE BLOCKED?

Are there any others, apart from the ones I have spoken to, who are using TMNet, Streamyx ISP and cannot access:

www.malaysia-today.net ????????

It seems that TMNet may be effectively blocking the malaysia-today website, and perhaps other sites too, on instruction / orders from the Malaysian government.

DO NOT USE!

The Malaysian government wants to control your mind!

But could we perhaps access Malaysia Today via proxy server; does anyone know how to do this?

Malaysia is getting more like Zimbabwe or Burma with each passing day.

Abdullah, Najib and the band of UNMO / BN assorted hypocrites, self-centred plunderers and their lap-dog thugs are steadily destroying Malaysia, and are now trying to turn what once was a Parliamentary sham-democracy into a shameful Potentate Hypocrisy.

People Power is, it appears, the only solution.

Penang Global City Centre PGCC

- "Nothing to review”:
Lim Guan Eng

There was at one time widespread apathy and institutionalised complaisance under BN rule.

No wonder Malaysia is now in such a dreadful state, you must have seen the decaying infrastructure, non-maintained buildings, overt bribery and corruption, the brazen plundering, the universal misuse of power, fearless non-accountability, the list is very long.

In Penang, there was the contrived PGCC project, the developers Abad Naluri Sdn. Bhd., are said to be closely related to the UNMO leadership.

(as is the UMNO linked company UEM which is building the Penang Second Bridge and interconnected infrastructure projects, and other companies, such as, Equine Capital Bhd. which was to build the new race course, to replace the one which the PGCC was supposed to occupy, and implement other projects in the Batu Kawan area on the mainland part of Penang)

The PGCC project will not benefit the people of Penang, in fact it will be festering sore which will cause great harm far and wide.

It will of course make a few well connected opportunists revoltingly rich.

The Malaysian way (culture) was to grim and bear it, this pathetic subservient attitude has changed now that there is a new State Government in Penang under the leadership of Chief Minister Lim Guang Eng, and also new governments in Perak, Selangor, and Kedah, as well as in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

Lim Guan Eng

Now Penang can, and must, stand up for itself, and not give the BN UMNO led Federal Government a free hand to oppress Penang whilst simultaneously bleeding the country dry

Penangites, generally are strongly opposed the PGCC and other wasteful and non-beneficial, environmentally disastrous projects which will further tarnish the Pearl of the Orient.

The Wind of Change is blowing every stronger.

The Sun Malaysia, reported

“Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said on Wednesday there is no need to review the controversial Penang Global City Centre (PGCC) project as it had not been given any official approval in the first place.

He made the revelation after the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP) and Town and Country Planning Department reported to him that the council had not given the green light to project developer Abad Naluri Sdn Bhd for the RM25 billion mega project.

“I was informed that not a single letter of approval was given for the project by any government agency, so it does not need a review,” Lim said.”

The people of Malaysia have decided, enough is enough.

A Slap in the face for Barisan Nasional, and the ineffectual leader of UMNO

THE PEOPLES' COALITION, THE PEOPLES' HOPE

Hearty Congratulations to the following bloggers who won in the General Election, Jeff Ooi, Elizabeth Wong, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Tony Pua, and to Badrul Hisham Shaharin (Che'Gu Bard), warmest congratulations to you too, you did a really great job in Rembau.

The ruling BN coalition in Malaysia has suffered its worst election result in decades by winning only a simple majority, according to the official results from the Election Commission.

Caretaker Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's BN coalition lost not only its two thirds Parliamentary majority, it also failed to win back Kelantan State and lost control of four other State Legislative Assemblies.

Corruption, greed, self enrichment, arrogance and totally loosing touch with the common man, as well as racial discrimination which has caused ethnic tensions, a great increase in the crime, and lack of law enforcement; corruption and inflation were some of the reasons for a drop in support for BN.

The peoples’ message was loud and clear:

“Now is the time for change in Malaysia.”

The BN won 137 out of 219 seats, with three results, for Sabah constituencies, still to come in, the Election Commission said. (Update BN won the three remaining seats, all in Sabah, giving them a total of 140))

KPR, the Peoples Justice Party won 31 seats out of the opposition's 82 so far, according to the EC website, here

The caretaker PM, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who has been PM since 2003, said he would meet the King on Monday and request the Royal Assent to form a new government, as BN have won with only a simple majority.

He dismissed suggestions that he would now face pressure from party members to step down; however that is clearly a distinct possibility.

His son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin, who won in the Rembau, Negeri Sembilan Parliamentary after a recount, (this was a ‘strange’ result, as it had been a close call, hence the need for a recount; initially Ghe'guBard was reported to be leading by a small number of votes, hence the recount and the plot thickened when Khairy eventually with a 5,000+ vote majority!) was reported to have told reporters:

"We suffered a lot of losses tonight. But we are going to fight on. We are not going to quit. It is not the end of the world and we are going to get through this."

It is not clear to whom the “We” referred too!

It was clear, during the weeks and months prior to the election, that the winds of change were blowing strongly against BN, but with their 'holier than thou' attitude, and ingrained arrogance, self centeredness and lack of real understanding of the situation, BN had failed to read the clear signals that they were heading for a rough ride in the elections.

Some commentators had predicted that the opposition to do very well. Outspoken critic of BN, Raja Petra, who has a blog called 'Malaysia Today' had gone on record to report that the opposition would do well across the board, and his forecast was quite accurate.

It is clear that the people of Malaysia wanted change and many of Malay majority; as well as Chinese and Indian ethnic minority voters deserted BN, which had ruled the roost with a 2/3 majority in Parliament throughout for 50 years, ever since independence from Britain.

Before these elections only one state was under opposition control, Kelantan.

The Election Commission confirmed opposition retention of control of Kelantan State, as well as wins in the States of Selangor, Perak, Kedah and Penang which had previously been under BN control. In Terengganu BN won by a wafer the thin margin of only two seats, and BN won in the State of Negeri Sembilan, but with only a narrow majority.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is barred from politics until next month and therefore could not stand for election, but is nevertheless is the de-facto leader of PKR, said the people of Malaysia had spoken loudly and clearly.

"Today at the ballot box, you listened to your heart with a lot of conviction that the time for change has arrived..."

"This is a defining moment, unprecedented in our nation's history. Today a new chapter has opened." he said.

The last time BN suffered such a big setback, was in 1969, and this resulted in the 13 May racial riots, dozens of deaths and a two year state of emergency.

Thankfully there is no sign of such riots being repeated, but there is a real fear that tension and anger may erupt, so the next few days will be understandably rather tense.

On election day, yesterday, some violence linked to the election was reported in the east coast State of Terengganu, where police said they had fired tear gas to disperse a crowd of several hundred people protesting at what they saw as an attempt to bus-in phantom voters by the BN, for an attempt at vote-rigging. The police spokesman said that 22 people had been arrested.

This election is a watershed, may it bring an end to ethnic based politics in Malaysia, the Coalition of opposition parties are multi ethnic and multi religious, that is how the governance of Malaysia should be from now on.

Congratulations Malaysia on your ‘coming of age’ let true democracy and freedom, equality for all, peace and harmony prevail.

Viva! Viva! Viva!

"They Don't Care About Us"

MICHAEL JACKSON sang "They Don't Care About Us".

The lyrics and the video are below, read the lyrics and listen to the words while viewing the video.

Do you think that there is a similar situation in Malaysia?

Of course Michael Jackson was singing about the way that the African Americans, in the USA, were treated, but if you substitute instead, all those Malaysians who are outside the inner circle of BN and their crony's, then the situation in Malaysia is quite similar.

The BN government leadership, the 'UMNOputras' and their crony's are, by their actions, showing that they are only thinking about themselves.

Their arrogance, selfishness, self interest, greed, unaccountability, abuse of power, arrogance, intimidation, flamboyance and aloofness clearly show through the wafer thin veneer of pretence, lies, misinformation and political showmanship.

Read between the lines.

Open your eyes.

They certainly don't care about us!

They Don't Care About Us

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, aggravation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Bang bang, shot dead
Everybody's gone mad

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Beat me, hate me
You can never break me
Will me, thrill me
You can never kill me
Jew me, sue me
Everybody do me
Kick me, kick me
Don't you black or white me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Tell me what has become of my life
I have a wife and two children who love me
I am the victim of police brutality, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of hate
You're rapin' me of my pride
Oh, for God's sake
I look to heaven to fulfill its prophecy...
Set me free

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
trepidation, speculation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
black man, black male
Throw your brother in jail

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Tell me what has become of my rights
Am I invisible because you ignore me?
Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of shame
They're throwing me in a class with a bad name
I can't believe this is the land from which I came
You know I do really hate to say it
The government don't wanna see
But if Roosevelt was livin'
He wouldn't let this be, no, no

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, speculation
Everybody litigation
Beat me, bash me
You can never trash me
Hit me, kick me
You can never get me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Some things in life they just don't wanna see
But if Martin Luther was livin'
He wouldn't let this be

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, segregation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Kick me, strike me
Don't you wrong or right me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

All I wanna say is that
